Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated: September 7, 2026

Ball Physics is an Android particle-simulation game. This policy explains the information processed when you use the app, view an optional rewarded ad, buy Pro, or choose to send feedback.

Who operates Ball Physics

Ball Physics is developed and operated by Brendan Sapp. For privacy questions or requests, email ballphysics.app@gmail.com.

Information processed by the app

Usage and product analytics

Firebase Analytics records app interactions such as sessions, scene and visual-style selections, locked-feature requests, play-duration and ball-count ranges, renderer type, onboarding completion, rewarded-ad steps, purchase-flow steps, and whether Pro access was verified. Values are limited to predefined categories and ranges. Analytics may also process an app-instance identifier, approximate location derived from an IP address, and device, operating-system, app-version, language, and session information. We use this information to understand feature demand, engagement, monetization, and app quality.

Crash and performance diagnostics

Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Performance Monitoring process crash reports, non-fatal errors, stack traces, app state, device and operating-system details, app version, renderer status, performance timings, screen-rendering metrics, network-request performance, and related diagnostic identifiers. We use this information to find crashes, slow behavior, and device-specific graphics problems.

Configuration

Firebase Remote Config receives app and device information needed to deliver and measure the current app configuration, including the global rewarded-access policy. It is not used to enroll users in an A/B test.

Optional rewarded advertising

Rewarded ads are shown only when you choose to watch one. When permitted by your privacy choices, the app may initialize Google Mobile Ads and preload an ad at launch or later so it is ready. These requests contact Google even if you do not choose to watch an ad. The SDK may process an IP address, approximate location, app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic data, app-set or other device/account identifiers, consent choices, and ad-delivery and fraud-prevention information. Google Mobile Ads may use the Android advertising ID when available and permitted by your privacy choices and device settings. Ball Physics disables advertising-ID collection and ad-personalization signals for Firebase Analytics; these Analytics settings do not disable identifier use by Google Mobile Ads. The app does not use banners or forced interstitial ads. Availability and processing can vary by region, consent choice, device, and Google's limited-ads behavior.

Purchases

Google Play processes Pro purchases and payment information. Ball Physics receives purchase status and entitlement information needed to start, verify, acknowledge, restore, and support the purchase. The app does not send purchase tokens, order IDs, or payment-card details to its custom Analytics events. Google Play purchase and revenue information may be linked to Firebase Analytics through Google's service integrations.

Feedback and diagnostic reports

Feedback is optional. The Help feedback action opens a Google Form in your browser, where you can review or remove the visible prefilled diagnostic report, add text, and choose whether to submit. The report can contain app and Android versions, device model and manufacturer, build fingerprint, primary processor architecture, memory status, simulation settings, renderer details, recent diagnostic checkpoints, process-exit details, and relevant exception information. After a crash or graphics failure, a separate in-app diagnostic prompt offers a Send report button. Selecting it submits the diagnostic report directly to the developer’s Google Form; this path does not open a browser or provide a text editor. You can decline with Not now. Neither feedback path submits a report without your action, and neither attaches a screenshot. Firebase crash and performance collection described above operates separately.

Information stored only on your device

The app stores settings, onboarding status, locally cached Pro entitlement, temporary rewarded access, and a bounded diagnostic history in Android private application storage. Touch input and motion-sensor input are used on-device for gameplay and are not intentionally transmitted as raw input.

How information is used and shared

We use information to operate, secure, debug, and improve Ball Physics; measure feature demand and performance; deliver optional rewarded ads; process and restore Pro purchases; respond to feedback; and diagnose reported problems.

Information is processed by service providers acting for these purposes, including Google Firebase, Google Analytics, Google Mobile Ads, Google Play Billing, Google Forms, and Cloudflare. Advertising data may be shared with Google and its advertising partners as needed to provide, measure, and protect the optional ad service. We do not sell personal information.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce legal rights, investigate fraud or security incidents, or protect users and the public.

Your choices

Retention and security

Locally stored information remains until replaced, cleared through Android, or removed by uninstalling the app. Feedback and diagnostic reports submitted to the developer are retained for no longer than 24 months unless a longer period is reasonably necessary for an active support, security, fraud-prevention, or legal matter; afterward they are deleted or anonymized.

Firebase, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, Google Forms, and Cloudflare records follow the configured retention settings and policies of those services. We periodically review and delete information that is no longer needed. Information is encrypted in transit where the service supports it, but no storage or transmission system is completely secure.

Children's privacy

Ball Physics is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13 or the applicable minimum age in their country. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information should contact us for review and deletion. The app must not be distributed as child-directed unless its advertising, consent, store declarations, and data practices are reviewed for applicable Families requirements.

International processing and legal rights

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. We may need enough information to verify and complete a request. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

Third-party policies

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. The latest version will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
